I am a theatre designer and performance practitioner based in rural Sweden.
Since graduating in 2008 from Central Saint Martins in London, I have worked as a set and costume designer on various theatre, dance and opera productions, mainly in the UK.
I am particularly interested in devised work, site-specific projects and community art. Since relocating to rural Norduppland, Sweden, I have moved away from the theatre stage, but continued to explore spatial design in different public spaces. Such as the forest, the city street, the art gallery, the basements of a 17th C manor house.

Since 2019, I am part of the STADSRÖRA art collective (with choreographers Helena Lambert and Sara Lindström and landscape architect Susanna Lundberg), a community long-term art project based in Norrtälje.
See stadsrora.se for more information.

2017-19, I worked together with artist Pavel Matveyev on temporary public art project #möbleratierp in Tierp, a project I initiated and developed for Tierp municipality. (Please see Instagram for photos.)

For Tierp municipality, I also designed "Sagostigen", a series of permanent interactive art installations in a forested area in Tierp, collaborating with chain saw sculptor Hans Gustafsson and Laur Koivs carpentry workshop.

Apart from designing I have diverse experience of project management and educational work with children and adults as well as some curation.

I am also co-owner of Hållnäs Konstkoloni, a small-scale rural artists' retreat in Norduppland, Sweden. Visit www.hallnaskonstkoloni.com and www.instagram.com/konstkoloni for more info.

I live with my husband and two small children in Hållnäs, Norduppland, where I also work pert-time with a rural development project 2019-21.

In 2019, I received Region Uppsala´s culture award, for Performing Arts.

The photo gallery on this profile is poorly updated and mostly consists of older stage productions.
